If we Christians really want to overcome misunderstandings with Muslims and make ourselves credible interlocutors with them, we need a theology of the new defense in the practice of the faith. We need to make sure that our arguments are not weak.

Paul said, “…I speak words of life and sense” (Acts 26:25) and Peter echoed him, “Always be ready…” (1 Pet. 3:16).
